Miscellaneous Tips
  • This pchat keeps a log up to 1.5Mb in size, and will replay upon entering the room. Once the log reaches 1.5Mb, the log and current board will be cleared automatically. However! The previous image can be seen with the chat command “/showlastlog” and can also be repasted on the board by a mod.
  • /Please/ erase your art when you are finished with it. It’s uncourteous to others when half the board is taken up with the same drawings for hours because no one wants to erase them in case the original artist meant to continue them.
  • All takamin pchat boards close at about 7:30pm EST for 10-15 minutes. All drawing logs are cleared during this time.

note: All commands are case sensitive. ‘/zoomMain 1’ functions, but ‘/zoommain 1’ will not.

CHAT COMMANDS

/bellon roomin notifies you when a user enters the room
/belloff roomin turn off notification
/capture same function as capture button
/clear clears chatbox
/fontsize <size> change font size in the chat room; only works if the chat is not floating (ex. “/fontsize 12”)
/frameOpen opens the entire applet in a new window
/frameClose returns applet to browser window
/help display a basic, limited list of chat commands
/imagepaste submit png/jpeg files to upload onto the canvas
/jtablet on turns pressure sensitivity on
/layout <size> changes layout of the applet; used for screens that aren’t wide (“/layout #”, # can be 0-3)
/open chat opens chatbox in new window  (*may clear the chat) 
/close chat returns chatbox to main window (*may clear the chat)
/open tool opens the tools (color, brush size, mask, etc.) in a new window
/close tool returns tools to main window
/rom turns user’s name grey, regularly used when going AFK
/showlastlog show the last image before board was cleared (only works if you were present before the bombing/autoclear)
/textscroll changes the direction the chatbox flows (clears chat)
/zoom separate, zoomed-in drawing screen; automatically follows cursor (able to write “/zoom #” like “/zoom 8” to zoom in to a particular magnification)
/zoomMain maximum zoom on the main canvas (also able to write “/zoomMain #” to change magnification)

OTHER COMMANDS

hold alt and click (or right click) on canvas for “eyedropper” tool

hold shift and draw for eraser
